Bringing Boldness and Consistency to the Brand

Parabellum Martial Arts had a striking logo and a bold set of brand colours but faced challenges in creating a consistent look and feel across their marketing materials.

Through conversations about brand personality and objectives, we refined the existing brand and developed versatile visual elements to enhance consistency. The original logo, featuring a bull skull, symbolises fierceness, strength, and fearlessness—qualities we leaned into during the refresh. The existing yellow and black palette provides high contrast and strong recognition, so we retained these colours and assigned standardised colour codes to ensure consistent use.

To improve logo usability, we created horizontal and stacked variations, making the logo adaptable across various formats while increasing brand recognition through more prominent use of the business name.

Adding a fresh, engaging element, we introduced a custom AI-generated image of a bull—dressed in Parabellum colours—to act as a brand mascot, reinforcing the brand’s fierce and fearless identity.

To strengthen brand consistency, we also established comprehensive brand codes. This included defining a consistent font set and incorporating sharp, triangular angles in artwork—drawn from the logo’s lines—to create a cohesive visual theme across all materials.

Simplifying Sign-Ups and Member Management

Parabellum Martial Arts was relying on paper-based forms for member sign-ups, requiring Tom to personally distribute, collect, and manually file documents. This process was not only time-consuming but also lacked a searchable, digital member database—making management and record-keeping cumbersome.

To streamline operations, we converted the paper form into a digital version that meets all previous requirements, including the ability to capture signatures. The form is now hosted on the website, providing a faster, more convenient sign-up process for new members and an easily accessible, centralised database for the club. This improvement saves time, reduces paperwork, and simplifies ongoing member management.

A Sleek, User-Friendly Website Revamp

Parabellum Martial Arts’ original website was clunky, non-responsive, and lacked optimisation for both SEO and user experience. To address this, we partnered with Tom to create fresh content and design a brand-new website built on Squarespace—focusing on both functionality and visual appeal.

The revamped site was optimised for mobile users and informed by keyword research to drive organic search traffic. The result is a faster, more user-friendly web experience that better represents the brand while making it easier for potential members to find and engage with the club online.

Creating Bold Designs to Promote and Engage

We worked with Parabellum Martial Arts to bring their refined brand to life through a range of marketing materials designed to boost visibility and engagement. This included flyers, posters, social media templates, flag banners, and a promotional video, ensuring a strong presence across both digital and print platforms.

To ensure consistency and effectiveness, we collaborated with Parabellum to identify their key selling points and developed a cohesive messaging strategy that resonates with their target audience. Each design element reflects the bold, fierce identity of the brand while providing clear, actionable information to potential members.

The result is a versatile set of marketing tools that not only look great but also communicate consistently—helping Parabellum attract new members and strengthen its community presence.
